I love mixing styles and vibes in my outfits, and track pants are one of my favorite ways to do this. I've been wearing them consistently as this NYC weather figures itself out.

I typically throw them on with a t-shirt and jean jacket (hello, school pick-up time), but I also want to be able to flex them and look super stylish and put together.

So I found these mixes of high/low, classic/street, colorful/muted and more, that inspired me.

Click through below and I hope you're inspired too.

The goal = amped up sporty vibes with chic flair.

A few style tips:

  • Don’t let the bottom of the pant fold over or drape. If the pants are too long, have your tailor hem them and add elastic banding so that they hit at the ankle.
  • Accent the waist by tucking or half-tucking your blouse or top.
  • Avoid a flat butt look by tucking your top in all the way around.
  • If you're not wearing your track pants with sneakers, rock a dainty pump or pointy toe flat, the mix works beautifully.
